Tutoring has really helped me become the person I am today. It has really helped me accept my dyslexia. I have also learned that having dyslexia is a gift and not a curse. So I think that Avivah and tutoring has helped me become far more confidant in my own abilities, and I have also grown as a reader and writer. (Rose)

I remember I hated writing when I was in elementary school. I always had crazy stories and ideas in my head but I could never get the words to cooperate. However, once I started going to Avivah, I learned how to control the words. They no longer were scary entities that caused Fs on spelling tests. Avivah has a very thorough and well-trained approach to dyslexia remediation and a personal rapport that children engage with easily.
